Simple Rig Mode

Only two inputs are required in this mode:

• Max Rig Units: the number of rig units available throughout the project life.
• Rig Moving Time: the time it takes to move a rig unit from one well to another to begin a new task. Note that this is ignored if both tasks belongs to the same well bore.

Rig units are mobilized the day they are required for a drilling job.

No distinction is made between individual rig units; unlike the Extended Rig Mode, it is not necessary either to assign them to specific wells or to mobilize them. Max Rig Units can be defined as a function dependent of runtime variables, to make the number of available rig units vary over time.
